Shamanic Healing is one topic that has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. So imagine my delightful surprise: Hibiscus Moon Academy offered a Shamanic approach to crystal therapy class! Angie Yingst did a fantastic job at presenting the material and leading us through a shamanic journey to meet our crystal.
I’d like to welcome you to my Shamanic Mini Retreat and Journey experience.
How inspiring to begin this day fresh, with purpose and intention!
I began by quietly preparing my coffee with gem water. Listening to the quiet hum of the dishwasher, I sip my coffee and settle in for today’s journey.
My sacred space awaits me with the scent of Palo Santo, Frankincense, and Myrhh in the air. I take a deep breath and the calming glow of candles settles me even deeper still.
On the table near me, a glass of water, a tea light, a shot glass of expresso, and a cigar lovingly set for my ancestors.
On another table near me, a crystal grid with tealights for safe passage while we go off on our crystal journey. The grid is a potent combination of Selenite (satin spar), Amethyst, Black Tourmaline, Clear Quartz, Apophyllite, and a Large Cluster of heat-treated Amethyst.
Over the years, I’ve come to form a loving and trusting relationship with this combination of Crystal Psychic Protection and Divine Connection super allies.
Since the holidays are here and I need a little extra pick-me-up, I’ve decided to work with the Shamanic Journey layout to further enhance the journey and healing experience.
The Shamanic Journey Layout Crystals I chose to work with are Magnetite, Shungite, and Black Tourmaline at my Earthstar Chakra for grounding, Shaman Stones (aka Moqui Balls, or Boji stones) one in each hand, My optical Lemurian Quartz wand on my heart chakra, and an elestial quartz that’s near and dear o me on my crown. One of my favorite comfortable blankets keeps me warm
I then settle down on an exciting yet relaxing journey to meet and connect with my crystal. I have chosen to journey with the latest addition to my healing set,
my Lemurian Lazer Quartz Wand!
What a privilege to work with this crystal ally and to make its healing available to my clients moving forward!
I’ve arrived at our meeting place where I find a stone circle with a fire pit in the center has been set and it feels very welcoming. I sit at the fire and breathe deeply to get settled into this naturally beautiful and serene place. The fire crackles as a gentle breeze blows the leaves quietly. I feel the pull to go on a walk.
So, I get up and see a field of wildflowers, dandelions, tall grasses, pine trees, and maple trees with mountains painting the horizon as far as the eye can see. There’s a rabbit that hops into the forest and, I follow it into the line of majestic trees with mountains in the background. I feel small in contrast to the natural beauty all around me.
I’m walking through the forest with the sounds of birds and crickets in the distance, yet all seems quiet. There are acorns of all sizes strewn around the clearing and leafy pathway. I follow the natural path and find an enormously magnificent oak tree. Its size blocks out much of the sunlight, but the rays shining in between the branches created a shiny glittery effect.
I notice that others who have journeyed have left offerings in prayers and tokens of gratitude. I wrap my arms around her and tears fall from my eyes because I can feel a sense of home here. I’m So grateful to be here!
As I walk around her massive, mossy, wide brown trunk, I’m happy to rediscover an opening into “her majesty”.
Oh my goodness, there’s an opening at “her” base!
And then to my surprise, the opening becomes large enough so I can easily step inside.
Once inside, the scent of rich soil and degrading tree bark brings me a sense of calm and curiosity, and thus, I continue moving inquisitively through this
intriguing place with relative ease.
There are wide tall tunnels weaving up and down and there are forks, I continue to move deeper as if I know where I’m going.
It feels like I’ve been here before!
I can see old tunnels dug into the ground by others who have been here before me and then the tunnels narrow and wind downward. The tunnels are embedded with different stones and minerals.
There are pyrite, quartz, emeralds, and Herkimer diamonds shining as they sit suspended in the walls of the tunnel. There’s even a spot where the light has a purple hue from the Amethyst sparkling where they poke out.
Then I noticed that these tunnels are actually the roots of the trees. Intricately interconnected and there’s no way to know where one ends and the next begins. However, I know where I’m at and I know how to navigate this space.
I arrive at a place with little light and my feet feel the solid ground. There are waterfalls way off in the distance, and large stones are spaced out around me. Suddenly I am aware that one of my guides is present and he’s there to help me meet my crystal ally.
I follow him to a clearing with a circle made of crystals, stones, and shells. At the center of this circle is a fire. There are blankets set up on the floor for us to sit with pillows for our comfort. As we settle down, I begin to feel my crystal tingle and give off a vibration.
In the vibration, Now I’m walking inside my crystal, It feels like I’m in a crystal fortress of solitude, protected, safe, and sound. There’s a vibration, pureness, and clarity here. It’s deep, pure, and dense, It feels like a place free from time, sound, and distractions. It’s the calmest and most serene place I’ve ever been. And it’s in my crystal Being.
The journey was so calming that I ended up drifting into a deep theta state. The drumming gently brought me back into a semi-aware state as Angie began to bring us back. I came back with so many insights and so much energy! I felt renewed and reconnected in such a profound way.
I found out several details about my crystal that put a smile on my face.
My Lemurian Quartz wand likes to be squeezed and held close to my heart.
She likes to be worked with, not just to be a pretty piece.
Three of my biggest takeaways are 1) She’s a “female”, 2) She enjoys journeying and 3) She has given me her permission to work with my clients moving forward. I’m so very grateful to be working with her and look forward to our long relationship. 🙂
The purpose of this post was to share my experience with you, through my eyes.
My takeaway is, that it was totally worth it.
The timing was synchronistic because I had been needing to take some time off for some healing myself. This gave me a much-needed energy boost so I could jump back in totally plugged into my purpose with a new crystal ally to assist me in my work.
I hope you take this as a signal to take a “mini-retreat” for yourself especially if you’re feeling “burnt-out”.
